Introduction and Instructions

Welcome to my gallery of nature art, collected almost entirely from the region of Massachusetts known as the "North Quabbin", a delightful oasis of natural beauty located in rural New England where the states of Vermont, New Hampshire and Massachusetts converge in a profuseness of densely forested hills and mountains seasoned with waterfalls, brooks, rivers and lakes.

At the heart of all this natural splendor is Quabbin Reservoir, a watershed preserve created in the 1930s with such a massive footprint that it prevented construction of highways through this region and subsequently stalled urban sprawl and development.  A refreshing break from the madness of Boston.  Here's my photo tribute to the magnificent, incomparable Lady Q!
